Professional Development in Art & Design Education
Opportunities for educators and artists who want to develop a strong social justice theme in their teaching practice and home communities.
VCFA’s Art & Design Education faculty believe in the transformative power of art and emphasize reflective practice, collaborative community, attentiveness to diversity, and the pursuit of social justice. Through our programming, you’ll work with accomplished and innovative faculty, strengthen your ability to advocate for art education, and connect with art educators from around the country.
The Art & Design Education Professional Development Series allows K-12 teachers, librarians, and teaching artists to earn Continuing Education Contact Hours each summer.
While we wish we were able to bring participants to campus, due to COVID all 2021 summer programming will be virtual.
