Issue 29 of Hunger Mountain is Out Now!
Hunger Mountain released its 29th issue, the Winter 2024 issue, on February 1, 2024. Hunger Mountain is VCFA’s esteemed and well-loved literary magazine led by students and faculty in the MFA in Writing program.
Hunger Mountain was established in 2002 under founding editor Caroline Mercurio Spitzer. In 2024, 22 years later, the magazine’s masthead is ever evolving, which “allows for aesthetic flexibility, guided by our steady ethics: promoting voices that have gone unheard, expanding our representation and scope, and critically examining our contemporary culture and our field.” MFA in Writing faculty member Adam McOmber serves as the current Editor-in-Chief.
