Profile

Jarrett Dury-Agri (he/him) is Assistant to the President and joins VCFA with a background in education and nonprofit administration. Originally from Pennsylvania, he is excited to be back in the beautiful hills and community conscience of Vermont, which holds a special place in his heart after he studied and taught at Middlebury (BA ’12) and Dartmouth (MA ’14) colleges.

Jarrett has also instructed English in Germany on a Fulbright Fellowship (2012–13), and regularly leads children’s art classes—most recently in Stowe, VT, alongside his role as Executive Assistant at The Current. A passion for learning, language, and literature led him to a PhD in German at the University of California, Berkeley, where fellowships supported his roles in publication, undergraduate teaching, and international conference coordination. When he is not traveling or translating poetry, Jarrett enjoys hiking, cycling, and using his hands to create the kind of art that he cannot make with his head.
