Health/Safety/Title IX

One of our most important goals at VCFA is ensuring a safe and productive environment for all of our students, faculty, staff and visitors. This responsibility is shared by all members of the VCFA community and we work, as well, with the Montpelier Police and Fire Department to provide a secure campus and community.

Title IX (Sexual Misconduct/Assault and Sexual Discrimination & Harassment) encompasses extensive federal law and policy intended to prevent and respond to sexual harassment, including sexual violence. We take these laws very seriously and hope that our policies and procedures inspire trust and confidence in VCFA. Our Title IX Coordinators conduct Title IX trainings and discussions on a regular basis with staff, faculty, and students. Contact information for our Coordinators is listed to the right, and they are always available for information and questions.

We also list below numerous resources, contacts, and links to help provide you with information on Health, Safety and Title IX. Students and faculty should also be aware that program staff maintain a list of local resources in the area, including urgent care centers, therapists, support groups, and religious organizations, among other resources.
