MFA in Film student project selected for LA Film Festival

Congratulations to Jeff Bemiss, whose film MISSING IN BROOK COUNTY has been selected for Film Independent's 14th annual Fast Track program at the LA Film Festival.

This year 24 filmmakers representing 10 different projects were selected and will descend on the 2017 LA Film Festival for three days of intensive meetings with top industry financiers, agents, managers, distributors, production companies and granting organizations with the goal of forging ongoing business and creative relationships and gain invaluable exposure.

MISSING IN BROOKS COUNTY is the portrait of a town in Texas that finds itself at the epicenter of a growing humanitarian crisis. The film shows immigration policy as it is lived by those on the front lines, with immediate implications for the future of the country.
