Profile

Shana Lutker is a Los Angeles-based artist. Solo exhibition venues include the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Pérez Art Museum Miami, 18th St Arts Center in Santa Monica, and Vielmetter Los Angeles.

Lutker’s work was included in the Current LA:Food 2019, the 2014 Whitney Biennial, Performa 13, and many US and international venues including the SculptureCenter, Mass MOCA, Cabaret Voltaire, Hauser & Wirth, CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, and Orange County Museum of Art. Her work has been covered in Art in AmericaArtforumArtilleryBlouin ArtInfoFriezeHyperallergicLos Angeles Times, and The New York Times, among others. Her work is currently on view in “Museum of Modern Art and Western Antiquities, Section II, Department of Carving and Modeling: Form and Volume” at Cristina Guerra in Lisbon and “The Enchanted” in Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle, England. She received a BA from Brown University and an MFA from UCLA in 2005. She is represented by Vielmetter Los Angeles.
