Humberto Ramirez is an interdisciplinary, multimedia artist and curator. Recent projects include participation in ‘Ten Years of the One Minute Film Festival’ at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA. March 2013, MoMA PopRally: Abstract Currents – Video Series at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC, April 2013 and the Reach VidFest: Popcorn Noir, Easthampton, MA, April 2013.

Past events include an invitation by The Chinese American Arts Council (CAAC) in NYC to participate in a panel discussion in the wake of the Obama election and a subsequent invitation by the CAAC to curate the show “Reconsidering Identity” at Gallery 458 NYC; “Cosmologies,” a video screening at Lesley University, Cambridge, MA in conjunction with a talk by authors Thomas Moore and Richard Tarnas; FILE — Electronic Language Festival, Sao Paulo, Brazil; New Media Show, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Santa Ana, CA; Digital Art Festival, Rosario, Argentina; VIII Salon y Coloquio Internacional de Arte Digital, Havana, Cuba; and the Biennale for Electronic Art, Perth, Australia.

Humberto Ramirez is Chair of the Art department at Landmark College in southern Vermont.
