Jenn Bailey

Profile

Jenn Bailey graduated with her MFA from VCFA in January 2017 and has since refused to leave. Her debut picture book, A Friend for Henry, received the ALA Schneider Family Honor Book award, the KAC Children’s Book of the Year award, was named a Bank Street Best Children’s Book of the Year, and is currently being used by New York City’s Department of Public Education in collaboration with PBS THIRTEEN as part of their online curriculum.

Jenn offers author coaching and editing services through Reedsy and Angelella Editorial, and her insights and humor make her a frequent workshop leader and conference speaker at such venues as AWP, SCBWI, and OYAN.
