Elana is the principal of Studio Elana Schlenker, a medium agnostic design practice established in 2011. She is the founder of Gratuitous Type, a magazine of contemporary graphic design, and Less Than 100, a pop-up shop for gender wage parity. On select projects, she works with Mark Pernice through their cooperative creative studio Out of Office. In 2015, she was selected as a Young Gun by The One Club for Creativity and as a Print Magazine New Visual Artist in 2013. Since 2016, has been a lecturer in the Image Text Ithaca low-residency MFA program at Cornell University. (elanaschlenker.com)
