Denis Maloney, ASC, conducted a cinematography workshop, and also gave a lecture called Crafting Light, Composition and Movement – the Art of Cinematography.
Maloney has worked on more than 20 feature films, most notably Rob Lurie’s twice-Oscar-nominated drama THE CONTENDER, starring Jeff Bridges, Joan Allen and Gary Oldman, and David Mamet’s EDMOND, starring William H. Macy and Julia Stiles.
He recently completed Philippe Caland’s thriller REPENTANCE with Forest Whitaker. Denis’s television work includes Robert Zemeckis’s acclaimed documentary 20th Century: The Pursuit Of Happiness for Showtime, plus movies for NBC, ABC, Fox, and Disney. He is a member of the prestigious American Society of Cinematographers.
