Profile

Christina Webb (she/they) is a designer, educator, and explorer based in Los Angeles and occasionally the Hi-Desert. Client work includes experience design, environmental graphics, branding, publications, consulting for public programming, and organizational missions. She has worked on fantastical teams at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Local Projects, and more recently with the Los Angeles Central Library and Abode Communities Affordable Housing – with award-winning event environmental design. 

The research area of her practice combines design, research, and participation with a critical nature, looking at the formal (visual) and social constructs of public space and site specificity, with a focus on language and interruption of dominant narratives. 

Community building and collaboration is key, and includes co-founding a temporal LGBTQ collective – Foreground – focused on co-mentorship and cultural happenings within LA Queer artists and small business community, serving as Director of the AIGA LA DEI committee and currently serving on the board for the Feminist Center for Creative work  fccwla.org

Christina constantly explores new modes of making, collaborating, and teaching. Christina completed her Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, and an associate degree in studio art from Northern California community colleges.
