VCFA Sponsors PoemCity 2022
As in years past, Vermont College of Fine Arts is once again a proud sponsor of Montpelier’s annual PoemCity celebration.
PoemCity has been a fixture in Montpelier since 2010, filling the Capital City’s storefront windows with local artists’ poems during April, National Poetry Month. This year’s month-long celebration also includes a range of live readings, workshops, and other events, some on Zoom and some held in person in various locations around Montpelier. Be sure to stop by College Hall to view the poems posted in the vestibule at 36 College Street. The display will feature work by VCFA alumnx Sue D. Burton (’96 W), Tracy Haught (’20 WP), and Nancy Hewitt (’02 W), former faculty member Frances Cannon, and staff member Sarah Hooker.
