Brianna Stallings, 2018 MFA in Writing & Publishing

Stallings has recently been named Managing Editor for Wanderlust Journal, an online resource for writers to share personal experiences rooted in the people and places they know or visit. She also served as Guest Editor for The Best of Wanderlust 2019 (Wild Dog Press, 2019), a collection of works from the journal, for which she also designed the book cover. Stallings is Managing Editor and Nonfiction Editor for Mount Island Magazine, a Vermont-based literary magazine for rural LGBTQ and POC voices, and she works as a culture writer for The Austin Chronicle specializing in book, theater, and comedy reviews, as well as interviews with artists and authors, like this one with acclaimed science fiction writer Charlie Jane Anders.
