The MFA in Film program will hold its summer 2024 residency on the campus of Colorado College, July 13-21.

Featured residency guests include visiting filmmakers:

Dean Wareham & Britta PhillipsVisiting Film Composers
On July 14th, Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips will be screening “Mistress America” on July 14, followed by a Q&A session. The film is directed by Noah Baumbach and is one of several films scored by Wareham and Phillips.

Tim Kirkman – Visiting Filmmaker
Tim Kirkman, will run a two-day workshop on directing actors for the screen on July 16 & 17.

Tomás Gómez Bustillo and Gewan Brown – Visiting Filmmakers
Tomas Gomez Bustillo will be screening his film “Chronicles of A Wondering Saint” on July 19, followed by a Q&A session. Tomas will be joined by his producer, Gewan Brown on July 20th to host a workshop/lecture on writing and producing.

Raven Jackson – Visiting Filmmaker
Raven Jackson, will be screening her film “All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt” on June 17, followed by a Q&A session. Raven will also give a lecture on July 18.

Emma Needell – Visiting Filmmaker
Emma Needell will present a lecture,  AI: The NextGen Assistant for Filmmakers, on July 17th.
