Recently, he served as the Program Director for Pixilerations, a yearly new media showcase that investigates the state of new media arts through installations, concert performances, and film/video screenings. His work has been shown in New York City, Miami, Providence, Cambridge, and Dublin, Ireland. Attias has been faculty at Rhode Island School of Design since 1998. He balances a professional life of art and design with an academic career, finding the combination mutually beneficial and dynamic. In 2001, he was a candidate for the Award for Excellence in Teaching at RISD.
