Cobb is an alumna of Stanford University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree, and the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a master’s degree in Business Administration. As vice president of original animation, Cobb lead the Netflix content team responsible for developing, producing, and acquiring animated feature films and series. Cobb joined Neflix from DreamWorks Animation, where she produced the Academy Award-nominated Kung Fu Panda trilogy and served as chief creative officer for Oriental DreamWorks, where she oversaw development and production as well as business and production strategy. Before joining DreamWorks, Cobb discovered and developed live action titles for 20th Century Fox Feature Animation and Walt Disney Pictures. Under her leadership, Netflix generated 40 Annie Award nominations and Netflix’s first Oscar win for animation with If Anything Happens I Love You (2021). Her films Klaus (2020) and Over the Moon (2021) were nominated for Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature. Cobb is an active member of Women in Animation and the Television Academy.
