Kari Whaley is passionate about arts education.

She is the former Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Pasco-Hernando State College, where she served as a campus leader and provided faculty support for two campus locations including the Instructional Performing Arts Center (IPAC).

Kari previously worked at Full Sail University administering leadership and personal development curriculum across master’s programs including media design, digital marketing, new media journalism, entertainment business and more.

Having served as the Director of Programming and Education for an Orlando area museum, she planned and designed quarterly exhibits and launched community history and arts programs including Art in the Archives, a painting education series set in the museum’s historic archive space.

Kari holds an MFA from Full Sail University, a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an EdD from University of Central Florida.
