As part of the Summer 2023 residency, the MFA in Writing will present a lecture by Visiting Alumnx CNF Writer Chachi Hauser ‘20 on Tuesday, July 25, 7:30 pm MST.
As part of the Summer 2023 residency, the MFA in Writing will present a lecture by Visiting Fiction Writer Samantha Hunt on Wednesday, July 26, 7:30 pm MST.

The summer 2023 residency will also renew a treasured VCFA tradition: the presentation of an honorary degree. VCFA is proud to announce the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters to renowned author and poet, Naomi Shihab Nye.
