Writer-in-Residence Emily X.R. Pan will present a lecture titled “Tension and Propulsion” on Tuesday, January 18, from 11 am–12 pm ET as part of the MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults program’s winter residency:
“Zooming in on these two facets, we’ll consider the questions we should be asking ourselves across multiple layers of the storytelling process. This craft talk will consider overarching story structure, sentence level work, as well as the symbiotic relationship between our minds and our words.”
