Join Tommy Caamano, MFA in Film alumnx ’20 (documentary) and Director/Partner at The WorkShop for a presentation focused on owning your own production company, the development process, and pitching documentary series to streamer or network executives. Our discussion of the pitching process will also segue to grants and sponsorships.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Tom Caamano is an award-winning documentary Director, with over 20 years of experience. Tom is currently a director and partner at The WorkShop, LLC. Recent credits include Now is the Time, True North: The Sean Swarner Story (PBS, ESPN), Invincible: The True Story (Reelz), and The Keystone Connection (Comcast SportsNet).
In the past Tom has worked for ESPN, ABC Sports, SHOWTIME, and PBS. Tom’s career started at Silver Cup Studios in NY as a production assistant for HBO series such as The Sopranos and Sex and the City. Tom is a 2001 graduate of Penn State University and received his MFA in Film from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2020.
