On Career Visibility with Hasanthika Sirisena

Hasanthika Sirisena will present a talk on how getting a grant, a fellowship, or even a residency can provide you not only funding and time for your work but career visibility. Hasi says, “This lecture will tackle the fellowship and grant application process with an eye to help you with the following: a) developing a narrative of your career and/or project b) compiling a work sample and c) developing and formatting a budget. I’ll also touch on strategies for approaching recommenders and how to nudge, politely. I’ll provide time for a Q&A.
