Speculation, co-creation, projection, science fiction, moral imagination. We are in an unprecedented time to imagine how future climate action and equity is taken. Now more than ever, designers have a crucial role in visualising and creating pathways into our future. This talk will explore the intersection of design and futures work, share a collection of tools being used in this practice, and investigate the role of AI as a collaborative partner in this process. We will explore commercial, artistic, and more exploratory practices.
