National Portfolio Days

VCFA is a member of the National Portfolio Day Association, which hosts Graduate National Portfolio Days each fall. At these events, you can learn about the best graduate art programs in the country and engage directly with MFA faculty. All Portfolio Day events are free and open to the public. VCFA participated in both virtual Graduate National Portfolio Day events in fall 2025: September 27 and November 16.

And for the first time, VCFA also hosted it’s very own VCFA MFA Portfolio Day on October 13, 2025.
