For Teachers/Organizers

Our programs offer children and teens an opportunity to explore their own stories through engaging, authentic activities that increase their confidence, motivation, and skill as writers. Our mission is to reach underserved populations, including populations who are underrepresented in children’s literature and high-poverty communities, and we cover most of the cost of a residency through grants and donations.

Our in-person programming is currently focused on the northern New England states—Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. We’re hoping to resume in-person residencies for the 2021-22 school year. If you’re outside our current network but excited to get to know us, send us an email anyway.
