Sarah Barley is the editorial director of the young adult publishing program at Flatiron Books, a not-so-new-anymore division of Macmillan celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2019.
A few of Sarah’s titles include The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert, Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust, Mirage by Somaiya Daud, the Caraval series by Stephanie Garber, Aftercare Instructions by Bonnie Pipkin, and If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo. Barley started her career at Random House Children’s Books in 2007, and prior to developing a young adult list for Flatiron, was an editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books.
