PickettThe International Sculpture Center (ISC) established the annual award program in 1994 to recognize young sculptors and to encourage their continued commitment to the field. A distinguished panel made up of Edith Newhall, art critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer; Doug Schatz, Professor of Sculpture at the State University of New York, Potsdam; and Gary Garrido Schneider, Executive Director, Grounds for sculpture, Hamilton, NJ; selected Corey as one of 15 winners from 356 student nominees.

The award recipients will participate in a traveling exhibition at Belger Arts Center, which will be on view from October 2017 – TBD in Kansas City, Missouri. The artist’s work will be featured in the October 2017 issue of the International Sculpture Center’s publication, “Sculpture” magazine as well as on the ISC’s website.
