VCFA & David Peacock Win American Graphic Design Award
Vermont College of Fine Arts has received a 2021 American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA!
MFA in Graphic Design faculty member David Peacock designed the winning piece, a gorgeous 22″ x 32.5″ poster printed split fountain with two spot PMS colors and satin varnish by Villanti Printers in Milton, Vermont, with copywriting by fellow faculty member Ian Lynam.
The poster features quotes from alumnx Adam DelMarcelle, Michelle Muhammad, and Ryan Slone describing what they love about VCFA’s MFA in Graphic Design, as well as specifics about the unique program, along with images of thesis work by alumnx Matt Scott Barnes, Tristen Click, Adam DelMarcelle, Rachael Hatley, Jimmy Henderson, Bill Kaminski, Antwon Key, Shruthi Manjula Balakrishna, Chad Miller, Heather Snyder Quinn, and Laura Rossi García.
The annual awards showcase highlights the winners selected from over 10,000 entries and will be included in the upcoming issue of GDUSA, online December 30 and arriving in mailboxes January 2022.
