MFA in Graphic Design

The MFA in Graphic Design semester begins with a weeklong, on-campus intensive residency filled with lectures, critiques, workshops, exhibitions, and discussions. Students participate in a vital community of designers, engaging in both formal and informal exchanges, presenting current iterations of their work.

As they share experiences and exchange strategies, students challenge conventions and imagine possibilities together, bringing perspective and focus to their designs. With input from faculty, visiting designers, and peers, students reach new understandings of their work in context to others and the contemporary design landscape.
