Kaminsky (MFAW '13) wins 2016 Voss Literary Prize

Leah KaminskyThe Voss Literary Prize is awarded to the best novel published in Australia in the previous year, and is managed by the Austrian University Heads of English, the peak body for the study of English at Australian universities.

VA alumna Patricia McInroy's film, "Clara, Angel of the Rockies," wins PBS award

PBS laurelsThe film is scheduled to air nationwide between December 30, 2016 and January 6, 2017. Patricia decided to make the documentary with her own funds in order to help spread this story of hope to others.

VCFA President Tom Greene signs joint statements condemning recent acts of discrimination

Gov. SealGreene joined Gov. Peter Shumlin, Lt. Gov. and Governor-elect Phil Scott, and Vermont college and university presidents in signing a statement titled “In Support of Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness.” He also signed an open letter, along with 110 college and university presidents from around the country, asking President-Elect Donald Trump to condemn recent acts of hate.

VCFA announces $100K in new scholarship funding for incoming MFA in Music Composition students
