From Andrea: “The exhibition includes an experimental video installation, six photolithographs, eight cyanotypes with interventions, and a photographic negative of a pencil drawing mounted on an LED light box.

My work is about living in a body. In my practice, I explore the vulnerability and the power of my own embodied experience with a focus on form, intensity, sensation and the temporal. Lately I have been accessing this topic through 19th Century film stills and photographs. I create my own conversation between early photography and film, and other media. Works are created for my own exploration and, equally, to engage in conversations with other works and with the body and mind of the viewer.”

The exhibition runs from May 5 through June 5. Learn more here: http://blog.malaspinaprintmakers.com/exhibitions/analogy-to-a-blue-flame
