Profile
Miciah Bay Gault is the author of the novel Goodnight Stranger (Park Row Books, 2019), which was a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award and a First Fictions feature in Poets & Writers. It was also longlisted for the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize.
Miciah is currently guest fiction editor for the Harvard Review and coordinator of the Vermont Book Award. Miciah’s fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times’ “Modern Love” column, Tin House, LitHub, Electric Literature, Salon, The Harvard Review, Poets & Writers, The Sun, The Southern Review, Agni, The Literary Review, and in the anthology Contemporary Vermont Fiction (Green Writers Press, 2014). A graduate of the Syracuse MFA program, Miciah served as the editor of the literary journal Hunger Mountain for nine years, and as faculty in the Writing & Publishing program at VCFA.
