Writer/Director Tim Kirkman received Emmy, Gotham, GLAAD and Independent Spirit Award nominations for his first feature film, the documentary DEAR JESSE, which was named Best Documentary of the Year by the Boston Society of Film Critics.

His third feature, LOGGERHEADS, starring Bonnie Hunt, Tess Harper, Chris Sarandon, Michael Kelly, and Kip Pardue premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won the top prize at OutFest, as well as numerous other awards. It was distributed theatrically by Strand Releasing. He also directed the feature films 2ND SERVE (written by James Markert) and THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME (written by and starring David Drake). He lives in Los Angeles.
