Profile

Shannyn Morse (she/her) is the Program Assistant to the MFA in Writing program. Previous to her work at VCFA, Shannyn was a committee assistant to the Vermont Legislature, a mental health counselor at a rural middle school, and an event production coordinator for five years. She received an MA in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and a BA in Psychology and Critical Theory/Social Justice from Occidental College. 

Based out of Central Vermont, Shannyn enjoys designing and sewing clothes, backpacking, and pestering her cat. She also volunteers with the Sacred Fire Community’s LifeWays programs and can often be found outside sitting by the fire.
