Profile

Kelly McMahon is a one-time poet who walked into a printshop and never looked back.

She holds a BA in English Literature from Smith College and an MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts, where she spent (much) time writing and (much more) learning the craft of letterpress. She lives with her family in sleepy Montpelier, Vermont, where she fell in love with the layering of life, death, light, and dark in the natural world and its analogues in politics, poetry, and the human landscape.
