Donald Quist earned his MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He is the author of the linked story collection For Other Ghosts and the essay collection Harbors, a Foreword INDIES Bronze Winner and International Book Awards Finalist. His writing has appeared in AGNI, North American Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, The Rumpus, and was Notable in Best American Essays 2018. Donald has received fellowships from Sundress Academy for the Arts, Kimbilio Fiction, and served as a Gus T. Ridgel fellow for the English PhD program at the University of Missouri. He has extensive experience in organizational communications, nonprofit development, small business management, grant writing, municipal operations, and higher education.
