Visit a Residency

One of the best ways to experience VCFA is to visit when we’re in residence. While you’re here you can:

  • Meet alumnx, current students, and faculty
  • Take a campus tour and learn about how we support our students
  • Talk with admissions and financial aid staff
  • Attend classes, lectures, talks, critiques, events, openings, screenings, readings, performances, and more!

To learn more about what you can do and see during your visit, or to sign up for a visit, please reach out to the admissions counselor for your program:

Admissions Open House

Visit our campus in beautiful September! The Open House includes a complimentary two-night stay in our dorms and a full slate of activities to help you get to know VCFA. On Friday, you can attend the opening of our alumnx exhibition.  You can also experience Montpelier during the September art walk and get to know local artists and craftspeople, attend readings or wine tastings, and check out one of our local eateries. On Saturday morning we offer admissions, program, and financial aid information sessions and a tour of the campus. Over lunch, you can meet with alums and/or faculty to learn even more, and then in the afternoon you can take a deep dive into your program to get a feel for what it’s like to be a VCFA student.

The 2020 Open House is on Saturday, September 12. Questions? Contact [email protected].
