MFA in Writing

Writing 2012 Residency

The ten-day, immersive experience for students from around the country was typical in that it was a vibrant time of workshops, seminars, lectures, discussions, and readings by faculty, graduating students, and visiting writers.

The summer residency's public events centered on "the state of fiction", featuring Ron Charles, fiction editor for The Washington Post, in conversation with VCFA President and novelist Thomas Christopher Greene.
