Three MFA in Writing alumni are Finalists for 2017 International Book Awards

Congratulations to: Harrison Candelaria Fletcher '06/faculty for Best New Non-Fiction (Presentimiento: A Life in Dreams, Autumn House); Donald Quist '13 for Narrative Non-Fiction (Harbors, AWST Press); and Mary Dingee Filmore '05 for Historical Fiction (An Address in Amsterdam, She Writes Press).

International Book Awards coversJeffrey Keen, President and CEO of American Book Fest, said this year’s International Book Awards contest yielded over 1,500 entries from authors and publishers around the world, which were then narrowed down to over 300 winners and finalists in more than 80 categories. Awards were presented for titles published in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
