"Watch It Fall" by Zachary Kohlmeier ('17)

Watch It Fall is a suite based on a minor, forgettable character from a popular video game.

The character is an astronomer, and despite it being painfully obvious that the moon is going to crash into the planet within three days, he appears amiable and only concerned with educating young children. This philosophical dilemma—the immense worth of investing in the children's short futures—is the basis of the Watch It Fall suite. The Fibonacci sequence (1, 2, 3, 5, and 13) was used frequently to construct basic elements of this suite.
