We take our commitment to campus safety seriously. We comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which requires that all educational institutions that receive federal funds or financial assistance prohibit sex discrimination in their education programs and activities. Sexual Harassment and sexual violence are forms of sex discrimination. Our Title IX Coordinators conduct trainings and discussions on a regular basis with staff, faculty, and students.

VCFA’s Title IX Coordinators are responsible for monitoring and oversight of the overall implementation of the college’s Title IX compliance, including the coordination of training, education, and communication and the administration of grievance procedures for faculty, staff, students, and other members of the college community as they pertain to Title IX.

In addition, we conform to local and state fire regulations and provide safety services to our campus through on-site campus relations personnel and the Montpelier police and fire departments.
