MFA in Film alumnus Kenneth Raimondi (’15) was recently named a Top Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) winner from JCI—a nonprofit organization of young citizens engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities.

Robin Oliveira (’06) announces new novel

MFA in Writing alumna Robin Oliveira (’06) has announced that her latest novel, Winter Sisters, will be published by Viking Books on February 27, 2018. 


Music Composition alumnus Timothy Miller selected as a fellow for the 2017 Wyoming Festival

MFA in Music Composition alumnus Timothy Miller (’13) has been selected as one of six composition fellows for the 2017 Wyoming Festival to be held August 2-11, 2017 at Grand Teton National Park.

The VCFA Young Writers Network has received a $2,500 Small and Inspiring Grant from the Vermont Community Foundation! 


PoemCity 2017 hosts MFA in Writing faculty and alumna poets on April 8

MFA in Writing faculty member Cynthia Huntington and alumna April Ossmann ('95) will read from their new poetry collections on Saturday, April 8, at 6 p.m. at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier as part of the 2017 PoemCity event.
